Gashu-Group Development and Future
 

I've seen Gashu-Group blossom from a very small idea into, what is set, the biggest project I have ever worked on.

I've learn't alot besides about manga, publishing, politics (believe it or not) and programming since I started. I've met and spoken with wonderful people, though some have come and gone, it has been amazing, changed forum softwares 3 times now, and moved from standard HTML to HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc.

We have published two very high standard and high hopes in success comic series by two talented artists, with my own and another fantastic comic by a great artist on the way. We have had an untold ammount of writers come through showing us what they have been doing and being honest, the talent just blooms.

So for the future my friends, or should I say my family, we have a very big journey for us this year, juggling what is called lifes biggest hurdles with education, work and here, all I can say is "WE CAN DO IT!" from none artists, to writers to THE artists and the people who make Gashu what it is.

Heh, old expressions spring to mind, but the one I'll use today is this:

'We walk a path. We must remember where we've been, and look where we're going, but never forget your feet.'

Deal with the now, and it will take us to where we're going. And where we are now becomes where we've been, in an endless cycle that can only go further and further into the future.

But hey, to stretch it further, if we don't take the chance to wander about a little, find the best routes, and pick our own paths into the future, then where's the fun in life? Which is why I'm never saddened for long when somebody who's walked with me for a while heads off at an unseen fork in the road.

As my beliefs dictate, whatever's left of all of us will meet again someday. in the centre of it all. So we enjoy the journey more for the travelling ^^

Ahh the good old days i remember them :) A wonderful experience to see how things have changed not just through the website but through the community aswell.

Man oh man, the memories!
I remember when we started in Feb 2007.
How we learn't so much and met so many great people through the forums aswell as the expos and just walking around london.

Its great i met all you man.

Awesome! Three years of Gashu Group! :D hey does that mean I joined three months after you set it up? Awesome :) WE WILL THRASH *CENSORED*!!!!... of course that's not the only thing I have in mind, but tis the most outspoken one XD

Haha I manually cencored it, but but but but but!!! I have now actually censored the word to protect our rep :3 along with other major swearwords like f**k which in actual fact come out as **** asterisk (*) ftw!

I noticed you playing about with it, because it censored the word Ho, in my 'Tally Ho' earlier. And there-after every incidence of the letters 'ho' everywhere, even in my signature... weird...
